De Bethune watches – Swiss aesthetics and perfection

De Bethune is an independent watch brand based in L’Auberson, in the Jura mountain pastures of Vaud canton, Switzerland. About 30 employees, including watchmakers, engineers, development designers, micromechanical engineers, polishers and decorators, are engaged in research and development of technical and aesthetic innovations in the spirit of the great watchmakers of the 18th century.

Tourbillons, perpetual calendars, chronometers, chronometers, spherical moon phase indicators, bridges, wheels, pallet arms, balance wheels, gears, balance springs and screws, as well as cases, dials, floating lugs and Hands – all of these components are individually designed and crafted with meticulous attention to the smallest detail, including the traditional “Côtes De Bethune” engraving and Microlight.

The brand designs, develops and manufactures all of its watches in-house. Since its inception, De Bethune has developed no less than 29 calibers, registered a large number of patents, and produced 150 unique watches.

De Bethune watches have received and continue to receive the highest awards given by the watch industry, including the Golden Arrow of the Geneva Horlogerie Grand Prix for the best watch of the year.
