F.P.Journe is a modern Swiss watch brand created by watch prodigy François-Paul Journe.

The iconic difference between F.P. Journe watches and other Swiss brands is the motto “Invenit et Fecit”, which in Latin means “[He] invented and made”. So at the dawn of watchmaking in the 17th century, Swiss watchmakers marked their watches, making their watches entirely independently, down to the last screw. F.P. Journe also has an almost completely closed production cycle of its own. Only coils, springs and rubies are ordered from third-party manufacturers.

Clock features

F.P. Journe is a very young watch brand, and in terms of production scale, as well as wide popularity, it is inferior to many recognized old watch houses. However, despite the fact that the number of watches produced per year does not exceed 800 pieces, F.P.Journe watches have persistent fans who appreciate the features of this watch brand:

  • conciseness and elegance of the dial. It is designed in such a way that one glance is enough to obtain information. You cannot confuse the Journe watch with any other.
  • cases made of gold and silver. Only a few watches have a stainless steel case, and then only for the reason that steel conducts sound better.
  • technical excellence. Each instance is assembled manually by one craftsman.

Many models are made only to order, and it is often quite difficult to buy a F.P.Journe watch.
