The H. Moser & Cie Streamliner collection is an ultra-modern luxury sports watch concept with an integrated bracelet. The aesthetics are based on the design of trains and cars from the 1930s-1950s. The Swiss brand is currently introducing a new rainbow style version with a tourbillon regulator.
The H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Tourbillon Rainbow has a stainless steel case (40 mm x 12.1 mm) and a bracelet with a folding clasp with a quick release function. Signature sunray smoked dial with faceted markers; hour and minute hands have Globolight inserts (ceramic-based material with lume), and a flying tourbillon minute with skeletonized parts is visible through a aperture at 6 o’clock. The logo applied in clear varnish is almost invisible, all according to the minimalist design codes of H. Moser & Cie. A slightly domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the screw-down crown is engraved with the letter “M”.
The transparent case back reveals the brand’s own caliber HMC-804 with an automatic bi-directional winding system, with a red gold rotor engraved with the H. Moser & Cie logo. The tourbillon regulator has a double hairspring for increased precision; this is achieved by two identical and symmetrical hairsprings compensating with each other. The HMC-804 runs at 21,600 rpm and when fully wound works for three days. The bezel is set with 60 baguette-cut iridescent sapphires totaling 2.90 carats.
